Abu Dhabi, 9 November 2009: The Ministry for Federal National Council Affairs (MSFNCA) organized a ceremony to honour its key governmental partners in Abu Dhabi. This comes in line with the MSFNCA's directives to strengthen bonds with the ministry's partners.

His Excellency Tariq Lootah, Director General of the MSFNCA he said the event highlights the Ministry’s commitment to recognize the efforts of itsstrategic partners, adding that success comes through joint initiatives and action.

He said that ever-changing circumstances demand that every entity cope with them effectively and capitalize positively on changes. "Moving forward requires more effort, dedication and perseverance to keep pace with the modern needs and achieve desirable the outcome that fulfils the vision of our leaders.”

He praised the strength of the cooperation built with partners which has resulted in the Ministry achieving tremendous successes.

 The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Saif Al Shaffar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior; His Excellency Rashid Al Amri, Director of Governmental Coordination in the Ministry of Presidential Affairs; Her Excellency Najla Al Or, Secretary General of the Government; His Excellency Jumaa Mubarak Al Junaibi, Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and Dr. Mohammed Salem Al Mazrouie, Secretary General of the FNC.

His Excellency Abdel Raheem Al Zarounie from the Ministry of Finance and Her Excellency Mariam Al Abbar, Director General of the Federal Authority for Human Resources; Mr. Ali Al Mashjari, Vice Director of WAM, were also honoured.

The MSFNCA's mandate is to coordinate with the government and the FNC, and  participate in making legislations related to the role of the FNC. It also supervises media affairs regarding parliamentary practices.
