Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs Marks UAE Flag Day

The Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs (MFNCA) raised the UAE Flag in the Ministry’s garden on November 1, 2018, to celebrate UAE Flag Day, heeding the call of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai

The ceremony brought together all the Ministry’s staff, offering them a platform to express their patriotism and commitment to working for the UAE’s advancement and glory. At exactly 11:00 am, His Excellency Tariq Hilal Lootah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of State for FNC Affairs, hoisted the flag in the presence of Assistant Undersecretary H.E. Dr Said Mohammed Al Ghafli; H.E. Sami bin Adi, the Ministry’s Assistant Undersecretary for Support Services Sector; and officials and employees from the Ministry.

“The UAE community’s Flag Day celebrations embody the values of patriotism and loyalty to the country and its leadership,” said H.E. Lootah. “It is an occasion where we come together to express our love for our flag, which was, is, and will always be a symbol of the UAE’s pride and dignity, and the emblem that represents the hopes and dreams of the Emirati people.”

“Flag Day is a national occasion where the people of the UAE assert their unity and reaffirm their commitment to keeping the national flag fluttering high, a symbol of the journey towards progress and prosperity that began at the inception of our Union,” H.E. continued.

Ministry employees took the occasion to underline the initiative’s role in promoting hard work to achieve our wise leadership’s aspirations for the UAE to assume the top ranks across various sectors, and to achieve excellence and greatness.
