“Employees are the backbone of all of our endeavours, and only with their support and hard work can we achieve our strategic goals,” asserted Her Excellency Noura Al Kaabi, Minister of State for Federal National Council (FNC) Affairs, as she presided over the annual Ministry staff meeting, held today (Wednesday, May 17, 2017) at the ADNEC Innovation Lab in Abu Dhabi.

The Ministry spares no effort to create a happy, stimulating work environment for its staff, H.E. Al Kaabi went on to note, adding that the Ministry relies on its employees’ dedication to fulfil its role in coordinating between the UAE Government and the Federal National Council.

H.E. Tariq Hilal Lootah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs, attended the meeting, along with H.E. Sami Bin Adi, Assistant Undersecretary for Support Services Sector, and a number of Ministry managers and staff.

The Minister of State for FNC Affairs urged the national workforce to adopt a culture of knowledge and innovation, and to work on developing their knowledge and skills to play their part in the Ministry’s plans and strategies.

“The Ministry’s progress and achievements are collective success for all of us, and a common task for all of us to participate in,” H.E. Noura Al Kaabi continued. “We aspire to act on the innovative suggestions and strategies you put forth. This provides momentum for the Ministry to implement its strategy and establish the UAE as a global role model for fostering productive cooperation between the legislative and executive authorities, as well as for spreading political awareness across all segments of society.”

A number of employees were honoured for taking part in the Sheikh Khalifa Government Excellence Programme (SKGEP) during the course of the meeting, which saw attendees from all administrative levels in the Ministry contribute insight, suggestions, and recommendation that seek to improve overall performance.
