Every year on January 17, we observe the Day of Solidarity – a national occasion that symbolises the unity and resilience that define our beloved nation. The day reaffirms our steadfast support for our wise leadership and the Armed Forces, while reaffirming the UAE’s commitment to safeguarding its sovereignty, security, and national achievements. The occasion also highlights the nation’s collective ability to transform challenges into opportunities that further strengthen cohesion among its people, and deepen the relationship between the leadership and people.

On this cherished national occasion, we renew our unwavering allegiance to our wise leadership, under the presidency of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and our two Vice Presidents, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, as well as Their Highnesses, the Rulers of the Emirates.
