His Excellency AbdulRahman bin Mohammed Al Owais , Minister of Federal National Council Affairs, affirmed that the Union Pledge Day remains a momentous occasion in the nation’s memory, commemorating the historic meeting of the Founding Fathers and their shared commitment to building a strong state founded on unity, growth and prosperity, and fulfilling the aspirations and hopes of the people of the UAE.

His Excellency said: “Our observance of the Union Pledge Day reiterates our commitment to the path established by the Founding Fathers and strengthens the enduring values that have supported the Union’s journey of development and progress. It also renews our pledge of allegiance to our wise leadership, under the presidency of H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, His Highness's deputies, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, as well as Their Highnesses the Rulers of the Emirates.”

H.E. concluded: “On this occasion, we reaffirm our fidelity to our wise leadership and our deep sense of belonging to our nation, while reiterating our dedication to serving the UAE and advancing the journey of its Union. May God protect our beloved nation and wise leadership, and continue to bless the people of the UAE and all those who reside on its land with security, stability and prosperity.”
