Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs organises political awareness session for girl students

The Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs organised a ‘political awareness’ session for students in cooperation with Creative Ideal School in Dubai, as part of the Ministry’s efforts to raise public awareness on political participation.

H.E. Dr. Saeed Mohammad Al Ghafli, Assistant Undersecretary for Federal National Council Affairs, highlighted the importance of strengthening the culture of political participation and raising political awareness among all social categories, especially the youth who form one of the most important segments in the society.

The session targeted 80 girl students from the secondary level in the school in order to promote a culture of political participation.

“We need to work together in the efforts to raise awareness in the community on political participation, especially among students and youth, in order to create a new generation that is aware of the national culture, and loyal to leadership of the UAE”, said Aisha Nasser Lootah, director of Creative Ideal School.

Mrs Azaa Ali Al Jassmi from Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs focused on the importance of involving youth in the political awareness process, the significance of the Empowerment Programme, and the role of the FNC in the community. She also gave an overview of the MSFNCA.
