“National Culture Forum” activities to be launched in Dubai on November 28th

Tariq Hilal Lootah: Forum will highlight significant role of UAE’s leadership in the empowering of women in all fields

The Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs is sponsoring the “National Culture Forum”, which will be organized by Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai in collaboration with Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government in Dubai on Thursday, November 28th 2013, under title, ‘Rights and Duties of Women During the Union March of the UAE’.

The Forum will be organized on occasion of the UAE’s 42nd National Day, with the participation of Emirates Association for Lawyers and Legal Experts and “Watani Al Emarat” Foundation.

“The activity will highlight the significant role of the UAE’s leadership in the empowering of women in all fields, enabling them to reach the highest positions and participate in the decision making process in order to achieve the overall development of the state,” said H.E. Tariq Hilal Lootah , Undersecretary of the Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs.

Stating that the ministry, within its strategic objectives, is keen on promoting political awareness among all categories in the society, H.E. said, “The cooperation in organizing this event comes within the ministry’s efforts to enhance political awareness among women.”

H.E. Dr. Hamad Bin Al Sheikh Ahmed Shibani – Director General of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai, said: “Through this Forum, we aim to explain the important role of women in the society, and their active participation in promoting the overall development, which is responsibility of everybody in the UAE.”

The Forum activities will be organized at Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government in Dubai, and will be participated by H.E. Dr. Sheikha Hind Bint Abdul Aziz Al Qasimi, Expert at the Secretariat of the Council of Arab Economic Unity in Economic and Financial Affairs for the Gulf region in the League of Arab States, and H.E. Dr. Saeed Al Ghafli – Assistant Undersecretary at the Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs , Zayed Al Shamsi – Chairman of the Emirates Association for Lawyers and Legal Experts , Dr. Saif Al Jabri – Director of the Research Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai, and Dr. Amal Belhoul – Social Consultant “Watani Al Emarat” Foundation.
