Ministry of State for FNC Affairs Holds Ceremony to Mark UAE’s 50th Anniversary on a Visit to Expo 2020 Dubai

The Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs (MFNCA) organised a ceremony to mark the 50th Anniversary of the founding of the UAE during a visit of the Ministry’s staff to Expo 2020 Dubai, which included a special tour of the UAE pavilion.

His Excellency Sami bin Adi, Assistant Undersecretary for Support Services Sector at the MFNCA, spoke at the ceremony. “UAE National Day will always be an occasion to look back with pride at our country’s long journey of progress and accomplishments,” he said. “The journey that began on day one of the establishment of our union by our Founding Father the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who believed that empowering our people is key to fulfilling our aspirations and advancing all sectors until the UAE reaches the leading status it deserves on the world stage.”

“National Day is special this year, because it coincides with the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the UAE, marking five decades of accomplishments made by the Emirati people across many sectors that allowed them to assume the highest ranks around the world,” H.E. bin Adi added. “Emiratis have even made it to space, outperforming many nations around the world, who now look to the UAE as an example to be emulated in areas of development, prosperity, and investing in human beings.”

MFNCA employees took the opportunity to congratulate the UAE’s leadership and people, renewing their pledge to persevere and keep the UAE flag flying high, paving the way for the Emirates to make even greater accomplishments and fulfil its ambitious long-term goals, which call for rallying efforts from every citizen around the country, regardless of occupation or rank.
