Abu Dhabi, UAE – 29 November 2023 – As part of its activities to celebrate the 52nd UAE National Day, the Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs (MFNCA) arranged a visit for its employees to Qasr Al Hosn fort in Abu Dhabi.
The Ministry’s team explored the historical landmark, which served as the seat of government, a residence for the ruling family, and a meeting point for the government in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The fort forms part of a historical complex housing the National Consultative Council and the Abu Dhabi Cultural Foundation.
The visit included a tour of Qasr Al Hosn fort and the National Consultative Council building, as well as a visit to the House of Artisans, where the MFNCA employees explored traditional Emirati crafts that celebrate the creative and artistic relationship between the Emirati people and their local natural resources throughout history. Participants also learned about the notable heritage events, programmes, and activities organised at the complex.
MFNCA Undersecretary His Excellency Tariq Hilal Lootah and H.E. Sami Mohammed bin Adi, Assistant Undersecretary for Support Services, took part in the visit, along with department managers and Ministry staff.
The participants, including senior management and MFNCA employees, expressed their utmost joy on this significant occasion that, every year, brings a renewed sense of pride and belonging to the UAE, a country that created all the necessary conditions and spared no effort or resource to empower its people to assume the highest ranks on the world stage. The Ministry’s team extended their heartfelt congratulations to the people and wise leadership of the UAE, praying for their country’s continued security, stability, and prosperity.
