Abu Dhabi, November 3, 2021 – The Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs (MFNCA) joined nationwide UAE Flag Day celebrations, abiding by the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai, to raise the country’s flag on all ministries and institutions as a symbol of the UAE’s sovereignty, unity, and loyalty.
This year, the occasion coincides with the anniversary of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s ascension to the presidency of the United Arab Emirates.
The UAE flag was hoisted in the outer courtyard of the Ministry’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi at 11:00 am, in the presence of MFNCA Undersecretary His Excellency Tariq Hilal Lootah, and H.E. Sami bin Adi, Assistant Undersecretary for the Support Services Sector at the Ministry, along with Ministry officials and employees.
MFNCA employees expressed their joy to be celebrating UAE Flag Day, which they described as a national occasion that embodies the cohesion and unity of the Emirates. They renewed their dedication to serving their country, supporting efforts at development and prosperity over the next 50 years, and playing their part in raising the UAE’s flag high on the world stage.
