“Embracing an advanced electronic voting system transformed Federal National Council elections in the UAE, and wielded significant impact on the entire parliamentary experience in the country,” H.E. added. “Our system has become a role model in accuracy and transparency, and a success story in terms of embracing advanced technologies and using them to achieve high satisfaction rates among voters and candidates alike.”
H.E. Lootah asserted that the Ministry is continuously working on initiatives to enhance its role in coordinating between the cabinet and the Federal National Council, promoting political participation among all segments of society, and raising the public’s political awareness and familiarity with the Political Empowerment Programme launched by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.
