Abu Dhabi, August 04, 2020 – The Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs (MFNCA) is committed to participating in the Sharik.ae platform to promote interaction and exchange opinions about its tasks, as well as business in general.
The MFNCA is additionally looking to benefit from the exchange of expertise to implement new and innovative visions and initiatives, in an effort to achieve its strategic objectives, enhance efficiency, promote and strengthen coordination between the government and the Federal National Council (FNC), and develop the culture of political participation among members of the community.
The Ministry asserted that the Sharik.ae platform is one of a series of innovative initiatives that the UAE Government is continuously launching to provide platforms for interactive communication with all segments of the community, and to exchange knowledge and expertise in an effort to drive innovation, advance government operations, and develop plans that ensure excellence in performance and service to all members of the community.
The MFNCA uses the platform to publish a set of blogs and publications related to its work, outlining the tasks it carries out and initiatives it implements in collaboration with various entities, noting that its main objective is to spread knowledge and gauge constructive feedback from the community. This, in turn, enables the Ministry to continuously develop its initiatives by accurately identifying requirements and needs, in addition to developing pragmatic plans that help achieve its strategic objectives.
The Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs formed a taskforce to oversee its participation in the Sharik.ae platform. The team is headed by Mohamed Ibrahim Al Saiqal, Deputy Director of the MFNCA’s Government Communication Department, and brings together Hessa Al Mansouri, Deputy Director of the Information Technology Department, and Salama Al-Ameri, Executive of Awareness and Political Education in the Department of Political Development in the Ministry. The team will develop a policy and procedures for disseminating data and information related to the Ministry on the platform, determining the content that will be published and following up on the latest developments.
The MFNCA recently uploaded a publication on the Elections Lab – an initiative it launched to promote a culture of political participation in the community – and another about the initiative for government employees to attend FNC sessions, which aims to familiarise citizens with the Council and how it operates, shedding light on the constructive cooperation between the FNC and the government.
Other publications included one on Youth Circles, which the ministry is committed to hosting in order to listen to ideas, observations, and suggestions from young people on developing and strengthening the culture of political participation in the community, raising their awareness about the role of the Ministry and the Federal National Council, as well as parliamentary operations and the electoral process in the UAE.
The Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs is committed to publishing blogs and advice on the platform, inviting all segments of the community to interact with these publications, make suggestions and propose ideas that contribute to the development of the MFNCA’s existing initiatives or to launching new and innovative ones that will enhance the culture of political participation and spread political awareness among all members of the community.
