Dubai, March 7, 2018 – The Ministry of State for Federal National Council (FNC) Affairs participated in the third edition of the National Sports Day initiative that bears the slogan “The UAE Unites Us”.

His Excellency Tariq Hilal Lootah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of State for FNC Affairs, noted that the National Sports Day initiative reflects the UAE leadership’s commitment to bolstering connections and communication among all segments of society with innovative initiatives that also promote health and build a cohesive society.

Taking part in the event is an expression of patriotism, loyalty and belonging to the UAE community, H.E. Lootah said, adding that it also sends a message of cultural coexistence from the Emirates to the world, as it brings together people from more than 200 nationalities and backgrounds that call the UAE home.

The Ministry’s staff participated for half an hour in the activities organised in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, which included walking and many other forms of exercise.
