09 June 2021

The Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs (MFNCA) has earned the Gold Accreditation from the Investors in Human Resources Foundation in recognition of its outstanding results in effectively managing human resources.

The Ministry is one of only three institutions in the Middle East to earn the accolade, and one of just eight globally. The recognition is awarded after an extensive and rigorous assessment carried out by independent evaluators. It is a testimony to the Ministry’s vision and its success in establishing a stimulating work culture that promotes sustainable growth and achieves the best results.

The Investors in Human Resources Foundation’s Accreditation is an international standard that evaluates various performance management criteria focusing on human resources. It is implemented in more than 45,000 institutions in 70 countries around the world.

MFNCA Undersecretary H.E. Tariq Hilal Lootah said: “The Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs has scored a significant new achievement, earning the Gold Accreditation from the Investors in Human Resources foundation, which recognises the best international standards for managing and developing performance by focusing on human capital.”

“The recognition we celebrate today complements all the achievements made by the Ministry over the years,” H.E. added. “It is the outcome of the Ministry implementing the vision and directives of the leadership of the UAE, and the result of the close monitoring from H.E. Abdul Rahman bin Muhammad Al Owais, Minister of Health and Prevention, Minister of State for Federal National Council Affairs.”

“Our wise leadership places great emphasis on  obtaining first positions as a main goal for all workers in the government sector and sets the highest standards for this to achieve global leadership and excellence,” H.E. Lootah noted. “At the Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs, we are committed to fulfilling this vision and applying the most effective mechanisms to meet it, each and every day.”

H.E. also applauded the great efforts by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, which are in line with global trends in human resources management, and help drive the push towards excellence in performance across the government sector in the UAE.

For his part, H.E. Sami bin Adi, Assistant Undersecretary for the Support Services Sector at the MFNCA, thanked the Investors in Human Resources team for their continuous efforts made to drive the development of human resources, describing them as the “main pillar for achieving excellence in any organisation.”

“Receiving the prestigious Gold Accreditation from the Investors in Human Resources foundation is an honour for the Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs,” H.E. said. “The Foundation is a globally recognised institution that sets international standards to guarantee best practices in the field of human resources. The award is especially significant for us in the Ministry; it is an international recognition of our efforts and the dedication of our team who have used their skills and expertise to enhance the MFNCA’s operations and turn challenges into opportunities.”

“Earning this Accreditation demonstrates that human resources are one of the most valuable assets for the Ministry. The recognition helps strengthen our position in empowering our employees and promoting the development of human resources as a method that will improve performance of employees and the Ministry as a whole.”

“Our senior management is committed to the development of its staff and keen to engage employees in the decision-making process. This, in turn, enhances their commitment, improves their performance, and provides an opportunity for learning and development for all of its human resources,” H.E. bin Adi said.

The ‘Investors in Human Resources’ Foundation is a global organisation that specialises in setting international standards, including best practices in human resources management.
