Abu Dhabi, UAE – 24 February 2023 – The Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs (MFNCA) has published the 9th issue of its Political Participation magazine, which discusses various aspects of the Federal National Council (FNC) elections process, highlights the positive results of the previous four electoral cycles, and traces the development of technology used in implementing electoral procedures.
This issue covered a number of topics about the various aspects of the FNC elections process, namely: The evolution of the legal framework for FNC elections; civil society’s oversight and role in the elections; elections and human rights; and the technologies used in the FNC elections process and their evolution over time.
Political Participation magazine aims to raise political awareness among all segments of the community, shedding light on the parliamentary experience in the UAE and the achievements it has made, and underlining the role that the Federal National Council plays in serving the country and its citizens. The magazine features the initiatives and events organised by the Ministry of State for FNC Affairs in an effort to spread the culture of political participation in the community.
