Abu Dhabi, UAE – 29 January 2024 – The Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs (MFNCA) has organised awareness visits in collaboration with the General Secretariat of the Federal National Council (FNC) for delegations from the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, the General Women’s Union (GWU), and Zayed University, to attend the 3^rd Session of the 1^st Ordinary Cycle of the 18^th Legislative Chapter of the FNC.

The delegation visits to the FNC – which included a total of 60 visitors – form part of the awareness and educational visits programme, organised by the MFNCA in an effort to achieve its strategic objectives, strengthen the culture of political participation among all members of the community, and introduce them to the nature of parliamentary work in the UAE, expanding their knowledge about the Council’s powers and methods for implementing them.

The visit included a tour of the Federal National Council Museum, where the visiting delegation explored its historic possessions that represent the stages of the FNC’s development since its establishment in 1972.
