H.E. Sami Mohammed bin Adi: Parliamentary work in UAE reflects the Union’s core values and serves as a framework for building a more prosperous future

Parliamentary work in the UAE is based upon the core values on which the Union was formed. It serves as a roadmap towards a more prosperous future, with active participation in national decision-making as an established principle and the development of all organisations as a constant priority. The Federal National Council (FNC) has emerged as a true voice of the nation’s aspirations and goals, playing a key role in addressing citizens’ issues through its constitutional authority in both legislative and oversight domains. The International Day of Parliamentarism presents an opportunity to enhance parliamentary experience, promote a sense of belonging and engagement, and highlight the efforts that have led to reinforcing this distinctive parliamentary experience. On this occasion, we reiterate our dedication to the principles of innovation, integrity, transparency and responsibility, with the aim of enhancing the UAE’s parliamentary experience.
